I kinda accidentally killed my guide on Terraria. Help please?

I was trying to dig my way out of the underground cause I saw some zombies were trying to eat my guide, but I thought he was invincible, cause he's a freaking guide. I was wrong. Horribly wrong. He died. I've been back on it a few times but he won't return. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN REINCARNATE HIM!? I miss him and his irrelevant tips. :'(
