What is your opinion on the Traveller community in ireland ................?

Agree is some good & some not so good..where I am from there was lot of settled travellers & they were so nice & lived a life like anyone else...my brother had a pub in London & few of them also moved over there & when he had problems at the pub they were the first to help him out. Where I am living now there are a lot who are very different as drink a lot & think many have no chance for education as have to marry young & some can be very hostile but I never had a problem as I treat them the same as I would anyone else..think some can come across as hostile as they expect people to be rude to them but I found if you do talk to them they are generally ok...is one woman I often meet & she is lovely & we always have a chat..think some of the younger ones can come across aggressive & scary & some of the kids allowed to run wild...is sad really as must be awful the way some people do treat them as outcasts so that in itself would have an effect on their behaviour...but I Think it is just that some have a problem interacting & social skills as they have to mix within their own community & marry also..I do agree they are loyal as the family we knew that helped my brother if had a problem they would be there to watch your back...is a girl who is renting a house around the corner & she is great we often chat when kids are out & her daughter is a fantastic kid...but still wouldn't want to live beside a family either, so sorry if that sounds so bad.. :)
