Are Councelors supposed to TELL you what choice to make?

Premarital Counseling is suppose to be a positive experience that just educates you on marriage and what to expect. They ask questions to make sure you know each other well and really do love each other but they aren't suppose to TELL you what choice to make or even cause you to question your relationship in the way that she did. That is very strange and is not normal. If she's an intern then she needs more practice and more guidance.
