Cant learn new weapons on world of warcraft?

well i went to a weapon master and learned how to use 1 handed swords (this was in the under city) and that was the only one there but i thought that the guy in orgrimmar would have something to teach me or in thunder bluff but when i got there now one had anything to teach me and it didn't even say i wasn't enough level there was just nothing there. can i only learn one thing because i think i would rather use bows that a sword
