Is polystrate fossils a major thorn in the evolutionist side?

The unfortunate truth is that there are no thorns in the evolutionists side. In fact, the theory is very robust and is evidenced every day. Microorganisms are evolving as we watch, and it is no great stretch of the imagination to expect that they are just a microcosm of the rest of the world. It is harder to believe that god has time to make changes to bacteria to make them drug resistant. He's got to be a busy guy what with listening to all of those prayers, having personal relationships with so many true believers, etc.
