Lying to Department of Human Services(DHS)?

Someone I know lied to DHS to get SNAP(previously food stamps) Cash, and Medical istance. She said she wasnt with her husband anymore, they are really divorced now. But how much trouble could she of gotten into? Im just curious and trying to look out for my friend.
