I've applied to community college, now what?

I'm a single mom going back to school to become a LPN. The Company I work for is closing in December, so I'm wanting to start school in January. I've submitted my application and fafsa, but now what do I do? I'm wanting to meet with a financial adviser at the school, but I don't know if I should call to schedule a meeting or what till I hear back. Where do I go from here?
