What has the lockout taught you about the business side of NFL football?
i cant believe it takes fans 5 months to realize that the game is a business. 1, its happened before and 2, you see the huge amounts of money floating around, as much as they make, its not just out there to gloat to the fans. its a CBA COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT!!! you cant just have 2 sides make a contract blindly, especially when involves how things work in the nfl. careful planning has to be involved to benefit both sides. the fans are just a byproduct of the sport. its the same as if you had a job and you had to negotiate deals with your boss. you dont just throw an idea and hope it works. you want to be satisfied with your benefits, but you have to realize that your company has to also make money so you can be the one getting paid.
