Why are some teams like the Detroit Lions known for conservative up -the- middle- runs inside the red zone?

Detroit is so predictable and boring within the 15 or 20 yardline it stinks..... they have been that way for years since way back before the Heidi game.........why don't they ever change? I think I could call better plays than those guys making millions for Detroit..other teams are so much more imaginative and creative and they play like PROS instead of timid high/schoolers.
