Guys do you like clingy girls?

I'm the type of girl that's detached. Meaning, I won't care too much as much as other girls if a guy doesn't pay me attention. I was wondering if guys liked this? For example, I'm not going to sit and wait around for a guy to call. Because I have a life, studies etc. Do guys like that? Girls that care but are independent and have a life? I'll show my guy affection but I'm not overbearing. Do guys like that.
